Work with me

I started my career in magazine journalism in 2005, starting out as an intern on women’s glossies like Marie Claire and Red, and working my way up to a features writer. I soon saw the potential in online publishing and moved to digital in 2007.

I’ve written and edited for various charity web teams, including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Macmillan Cancer Support and Tommy’s, the baby charity. I’ve also freelanced for Madeformums.com and Practical Parenting magazine.

You can see all the clients and companies I’ve worked for on my Linked In profile.

Always in search of the perfect work/family/life balance, I’ve found it creating this blog (mainly as a hobby but also as a portfolio builder, and perhaps, one day, as a business).

Time-permitting, I accept freelance writing/editing/content marketing commissions. For the past couple of years, I’ve redeveloped content for Target Ovarian Cancer and Tommy’s new pregnancy, miscarriage and stillbirth sections.

This blog has given me the opportunity to combine writing with parenthood, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with some great brands including Stokke (see The Edit for the video we produced together) and Naturalmat.
